Wealth Navigator magazine has published an article by Roman Bakhanets and Alexandra Mashkina entitled "Divide and protect: how to preserve capital in turbulent times", which focuses on modern methods of protecting private capital in conditions of global instability.
The publication examines current tools for separating personal and corporate assets to minimise the risks faced by Russian entrepreneurs and private investors.
The authors note that in the current environment, the optimal solution is to use a combination of different capital protection tools: Russian assets are structured through a personal fund in the Russian Federation, while foreign assets are structured through DIFC funds or trusts in Hong Kong.
