Orion has taken first place in two categories at the Best Law Firm Marketing 2026 national awards, organised by Pravo.ru.

“7 Facets of Orion” Reception was awarded first place in the Best Informal Event category. Held at the Mechta event space in Gorky Park, the reception was the first private event hosted at the venue and welcomed more than 320 clients and friends of the firm from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the UAE and China.

The M&A Forum was recognised with first place in the Best Business Event category. Orion has served as the Forum’s General Partner for the past four years. This event brings together M&A specialists and leaders from the legal and business community, and continues the tradition of the international conference organised by the International Bar Association (IBA).

Maria Ziborova moderated the opening session, “What Is Happening in the M&A Market? Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Transfers to the State and Listings.” Grigory Gadzhiev is a member of the Planning Committee of the M&A Forum. Following the event, the Committee published an analytical paper examining the key trends in the mergers and acquisitions market for the coming years.
