Orion representatives Vera Komarova, an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice, and Trainee Evgeny Palilov, contributed to the “Review of Russian Judicial Practice in Commercial Litigation and Cross-Border Litigation” for the first six months of 2024.

The Review was produced by a Russian Arbitration Association (RAA) working group. The document consists of four main sections summarising Russian court rulings on:

• General aspects of international commercial litigation and arbitration;

• Recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards;

• Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements;

• Application of foreign law by Russian courts.

Vera and Evgeny co-authored the section dedicated to general aspects of international commercial litigation and arbitration.
