Anna is a member of the New York State Bar and is qualified to practice under Russian law. Anna specializes in M&A, private equity and capital markets transactions. She also has extensive experience advising on derivatives. Prior to joining Orion Partners, she worked as an associate in the corporate practice of Herbert Smith Freehills, and before that in the legal department of a major Russian bank. She is recommended as an expert in corporate law by The Best Lawyers in Russia 2022.

Anna's work experience includes advising:

Sberbank in relation to the disposal of 99.85% of shares in Denizbank A.S. in favor of Emirates NBD;

Sberbank in relation to the sale of a subsidiary bank on the territory of Ukraine;

a non-state pension fund of Sberbank in relation to the acquisition of 100% of shares in Renaissance Pensions NSPF;

majority shareholders of MDM Bank, one of the largest Russian private banks, in relation to the sale of an approximately 95% stake in the bank;

Digital Assets, a subsidiary of Sberbank, in relation to the acquisition of a 51% stake in Speech Technology Center Limited from Digital Horizon Ventures;

a large Russian investment group in relation to investments in real estate of a group of companies (which bought the Real supermarket chain) through closed-end investment funds and other financial instruments; and

Nakilep Overseas Limited in relation to US$355 million financing provided by Sberbank to acquire shares in GeoProMining (the aggregate interest of Nakilep Overseas Limited increased to 95.74%).

Anna graduated with honors from the law department of the Moscow State University in 2004 and received her Master of Laws degree at the Columbia University (USA) in 2007.
