Artyom is an Associate in the Corporate law practice of Orion.
He specializes in supporting Russian and international M&A transactions and joint venture projects. Artyom also advises on the application of counter-sanctions and has experience in dispute resolution, including international arbitration.
Prior to joining Orion, he worked in the Corporate and M&A practice of the Moscow office of Dentons.
Artyom’s work experience includes advising:
Delo Group in relation to the direct and indirect acquisition of 25% plus one share in KSK JSC, which owns the largest sea terminal in Russia in terms of grain transshipment volumes, from Cargill Group, one of the leading grain trading and processing companies;
a major international retailer on the EUR 215 million tender sale of 100% shares in the companies that own a well-known chain of stores;
a private investor in relation to the sale of a majority stake in a large shipping company;
a leading German leasing company in a transaction for the sale of its Russian business;
a large Russian investment company on the acquisition of a well-known Russian bank;
a major Russian bank in relation to the acquisition of a Russian IT holding company;
a leading international utility company in the acquisition of a group of companies in Russia; and
a large transnational oilfield services company on its exit from the Russian market, including analysis of sanctions and force majeure clauses in oilfield service contracts with major Russian oil companies.
Artyom graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from HSE University in 2019, and received his Master’s degree with honours from the Russian School of Private Law in 2021. He is currently undergoing a postgraduate course at HSE University and is a visiting lecturer at the Department of Private Law.
