Artyom is an Associate in the Corporate law practice of Orion.

He specializes in supporting Russian and international M&A transactions and joint venture projects. Artyom also advises on the application of counter-sanctions and has experience in dispute resolution, including international arbitration.

Prior to joining Orion, he worked in the Corporate and M&A practice of the Moscow office of Dentons.

Artyom’s work experience includes advising:

Yandex in connection with the acquisition of a 100% stake in JSC “Zaryad!”;

JSC “RKIP” in connection with the acquisition of Russian companies of Renaissance Capital Group;

JSC Stockmann on the acquisition of 100% shares in the Russian subsidiary of Hugo Boss;

Delo Group in connection with the consolidation of a 100% stake in JSC “KSK”, Russia’s largest marine terminal in terms of grain transshipment volumes;

an investor in connection with the restructuring of agreements regarding an Indian oil refinery;

a private investor in a transaction regarding the sale of a majority stake in a large shipping company;

a large Russian investment company on the acquisition of a well-known Russian bank;

a large transnational oilfield services company on its exit from the Russian market.

Artyom graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from HSE University in 2019, and received his Master’s degree with honours from the Russian School of Private Law in 2021. He is currently visiting lecturer at the Department of Private Law at HSE University.
