Danil advises on syndicated lending and project finance.
Prior to joining Orion, Danil worked in the Finance Practice of law firm ELWI and specialised in finance and banking transactions.
Danil has obtained certification of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) in the Contracts Introductory Course and Claims and Disputes Course modules, confirming the high level of expertise in advising on EPC contracts.
Danil's work experience includes advising:
a major bank on the restructuring of the financial debt owned by a large owner of office property in Moscow in the total amount of up to RUB 130 billion;
a borrower and sponsors on project financing for the construction of the largest stainless-steel mill in the CIS totalling in the amount of RUB 150 billion;
a borrower and sponsors on the project financing for the construction of the largest LNG plant in the CIS and related contractual, sanctions and regulatory matters;
a project company and sponsors on the development of one of the world's largest copper deposits, related bridge loan and ongoing project financing;
major banks on the restructuring of financial indebtedness of a seaport;
syndicate of lenders on the project financing of the carbamide plant construction project;
major lenders on a complex syndicated loan transaction for the restructuring of Eurobond indebtedness; and
a syndicate of major banks on transactions involving amendments to loan and security documentation entered into with companies managed by Raven Russia.
Danil graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and a Master's degree from the Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg State University.
