Darya is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice of Orion. Darya advises and represents clients on commercial disputes in Russian and foreign state courts and international commercial arbitration.
Prior to joining Orion, Darya was a trainee in Linklaters’ Moscow and London offices.
Darya’s work experience includes advising:
a Russian company in a dispute over a fraud claim amounting to approximately USD 2 billion, being considered in US courts and several EU jurisdictions;
one of the world's largest banks on the securitisation of its mortgage portfolio and the issue of bonds secured by mortgages under English and Scottish law;
the underwriters, including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Securities and Morgan Stanley, on the initial public offering of CVC Capital Partners plc on Euronext Amsterdam; and
a private investment fund on the acquisition of a 50% stake in an international company, an operator of a network of international schools in Europe, Canada and India.
Darya graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of Kutafin Moscow State Law University with a Bachelor's degree and earned a Master of Laws degree with honours in the Russian School of Private Law.
