Dmitry specialises in finance transactions, including syndicated lending, asset finance (shipping, aircraft and rail), project finance and corporate finance, as well as debt restructuring transactions.

Dmitry also advises on transactions in the transport sector and private asset transactions (both in Russia and abroad), including sale and purchase and lease / charter of vessels, aircraft and rolling stock.

Prior to joining Orion, Dmitry worked at law firms Clifford Chance and Better Chance.

Dmitry is individually ranked by Pravo-300 among the top lawyers in categories such as Financial/Banking Law, Shipping and Transport Law.

Dmitry’s work experience includes advising:

a number of investors on participation in an additional issue of Segezha Group shares in the total amount of RUB 113 billion;

Gazprombank and DOM.RF on financing a project for the construction of a tramway network along the route: “Kupchino metro station - Shushary settlement – Slavyanka” in St. Petersburg;

Aurora Airlines on insurance settlement with a group of foreign lessors, including AerCap Ireland Limited and Aircastle, and purchase of aircraft;

Sberbank on financing of one of the largest crab fishing companies in Russia, participation in auctions for crab fishing quotas and construction of harvesting vessels;

a client on financing the acquisition, purchase and charter of 12 dry bulk carriers;

lenders on financing the gas chemical cluster in Ust-Luga;

SMBC Aviation Capital, international leasing company, on the sale and leaseback of two Airbus A350 aircraft for Aeroflot Airlines; and

CDB Aviation, international leasing company, on the operating lease of more than 10 Airbus A320/321 NEO aircraft for Aeroflot, Smartavia and Ural Airlines.
