Evgeny is an Associate in the Financial practice of Orion Partners qualified under Russian law. He has significant experience in advising Russian and foreign companies and financial institutions on financing transactions, including project financing, syndicated lending and asset acquisition financing. Previously, Evgeny worked for several years in the banking and financial practice of the Moscow office of White & Case.

Evgeny's work experience includes representing:

a syndicate of Russian banks as part of financing the construction of a railway wheels manufacturing plant in one of the special economic zones of the Russian Federation;

Gazprombank, VEB.RF and Sberbank as lenders in relation to the restructuring of project financing for the development of the Udokan copper deposit;

a Kazakhstani private bank in relation to the specifics of banking regulation in the Russian Federation;

a syndicate of Russian banks in relation to the termination of documentation under English law in respect of a syndicated facility agreement provided to a Eurochem group company;

Gazprombank and VTB in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan to finance the construction of an aluminium smelter in the Irkutsk Region;

VTB Capital Plc, VTB, Gazprombank and EDB as part of the restructuring of a syndicated loan provided to finance the construction of the Western High-Speed Diameter in St. Petersburg; and

IFC and BSTDB in relation to the restructuring of a club deal loan granted to a warehouse owner in the Stavropol Territory.

Evgeny graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University, where he received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2019 and Master of Laws degree in 2021.
