Evgeny is an Associate in the Financial practice of Orion qualified under Russian law. He has significant experience in advising Russian and foreign companies and financial institutions on financing transactions, including project financing, syndicated lending and asset acquisition financing.

Previously, Evgeny worked for several years in the banking and financial practice of the Moscow office of White & Case.

Evgeny's work experience includes representing:

a syndicate of Russian banks in relation to the financing of the construction of a railway wheels manufacturing plant in one of the special economic zones of the Russian Federation;

a syndicate of Russian banks on syndicated project financing for the development of Russia's largest Udokan copper deposit within the framework of the Project Financing Factory;

a private Kazakh bank in relation to various aspects of banking regulation in the Russian Federation;

a syndicate of Russian banks in connection with the termination of English law governed security documents under a syndicated facility agreement relating to a loan facility provided to EuroChem by a syndicate of banks;

Gazprombank and VTB on the syndicated loan for financing the construction of an aluminium plant in the Irkutsk region;

VTB Capital Plc, VTB, Gazprombank and the EDB as part of the restructuring of a syndicated loan provided to finance the construction of the Western High-Speed Diameter highway in St. Petersburg; and

the IFC and the BSTR on the restructuring of a club loan granted to the owner of warehouse facilities in the Stavropol Krai.

Evgeny graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University, where he received his Bachelor of Laws degree and Master of Laws degree.
