Irina is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice of Orion. She advises and represents clients on international commercial arbitration and commercial dispute litigation in foreign state courts. She has participated in complex cross-border disputes relating to fraud and asset recovery.
Prior to joining Orion, Irina worked at Burchills law firm, focusing on litigation, corporate legal services, tax optimisation, asset restructuring and due diligence.
Irina has acted on behalf of, among others:
a confidential client in the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and the High Court of Justice in connection with a more than £10 million claim pertaining to a joint venture based on a shareholders' agreement for setting up and running a major business in Moscow and the Moscow Region;
a confidential BVI company in the High Court of Justice in connection with non-repayment of several loans and ensuing freezing of the debtor's assets with a total purchase price over £12 million; and
a confidential investor in a top Russian bank with respect to a fraud, conspiracy and asset stripping lawsuit in Cyprus.
Irina graduated with distinction from the Kutafin Moscow State Law University with a Bachelor's degree in law and earned a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) with distinction in International Business Law. Irina also completed with distinction the Graduate Diploma in Law course and the Legal Practice Course at the UK University of Law.
