She advises on all aspects of corporate transactions, including legal support of M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations. She has extensive experience in advising Russian and international companies on joint ventures, as well as on private equity and general corporate matters.

Maria's experience includes advising:

Rosneft Oil Company in relation to

• the sale for US$550 million of 49% in KrasGeoNats LLC to Equinor and related shareholder agreements;

• the acquisition of a 49% interest in Essar Oil Limited (Essar Oil) from Essar Energy Holdings and its affiliates and establishment of a US$12,9 billion joint venture in Essar Oil with a consortium of international investors including United Capital Partners and Trafigure; and

• the establishment of a joint venture with KAR Group to enter into a concession agreement for an oil export pipeline in Iraqi Kurdistan, the only pipeline of its kind in the region;

New Stream Group in relation to the sale of a 50% stake in New Stream Group to ARETI Gasenergy, and establishment of a 50/50 joint venture;

a gold mining company on resolution of a corporate conflict in a gold mining joint venture, including agreements on the division of assets and the termination of shareholder agreements;

Delo group in relation to a number of transactions for the acquisition of assets, including participatory interests/shares in other companies; and

Sberbank in relation to the indirect sale of a 25.07% stake in VisionLabs, one of the world leaders in the field of creating products based on computer vision and machine learning, to MTS (as part of the acquisition by the latter of 100% stake in VisionLabs).
