Marina specializes in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, corporate governance and general corporate law matters. She has significant experience in advising companies in the energy sector, industrial and transport companies, as well as leading retail and real estate companies. Prior to joining Orion Partners, Marina worked in the Moscow offices of Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
Marina's work experience includes:
advising the buyer on a range of issues related to the acquisition of shares in EUROCEMENT group companies and rights of claim against the group, as well as on raising financing for the transaction in the amount exceeding US$2 billion;
representing Segezha Group in the acquisition of NKhLK, one of the largest woodworking companies in Russia;
supporting shareholders of the Uchi.ru educational platform in transactions for the sale of a strategic stake to Mail.Ru Group and a consortium of investors from RDIF and RCIF;
advising NPO Altair LLC, a member of AEON Corporation, in connection with the acquisition of Fincraft Holdings Limited (Fincraft), the largest shareholder of Petropavlovsk PLC;
participation in the work on the deal for the strategic acquisition by Tatneft PJSC of petrochemical assets of SIBUR Holding PJSC in Togliatti; and
representing Polyus Gold in connection with the repurchase of shares and American depositary receipts for a total of US$3,4 billion.
Marina graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University in 2013 and received her Master of Laws degree from the Russian School of Private Law in 2015.
