Nikolay is an Associate in the Corporate practice of Orion. He specializes in supporting mergers and acquisitions, venture and private equity transactions, securities transactions.

Previously, Nikolay worked in the Tax and Legal Services Department of Ernst & Young. Prior to that, he worked as a trainee in Baker & McKenzie.

Advocate, member of the Moscow Bar Association.

Nikolay's work experience includes:

conducting a due diligence of target companies for a major real estate developer;

Magnit PJSC in relation to the transaction for the acquisition of KazanExpress, a major regional marketplace;

advising a major international investment fund in relation to the restructuring;

conducting a due diligence for a major IT/TMT company in relation to the acquisition of an online classifieds service;

support of transactions for the purchase and sale of companies for a major real estate developer;

support of transactions for investments in start-ups for a major Russian venture fund;

conducting due diligence of target companies for a major IT/TMT company;

legal support in a transaction for the sale of interests in the Russian division of a major French holding specializing in luxury goods;

advising a major Russian bank on the acquisition of federal loan bonds; and

advising a major Russian bank on the transfer of accounting of rights to securities.

Nikolay received his Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of International Law of Russian Foreign Trade Academy.
