Nikolay specializes in cross-border financial transactions, including syndicated lending, trade and project financing, and real estate financing.
He also has extensive experience in debt restructuring. His clients include leading Russian banks, large manufacturing companies, and leaders in the telecom sector.
Previously, he was a Senior Associate in the banking and finance practice of the Moscow office of Clifford Chance.
Nikolay's work experience includes representing:
a consortium of creditors on the proposed provision of project financing for the construction of one of the largest gas-chemical complex in Central Asia for the production of polymer products;
creditors regarding financing for the project to create an international-class tourism cluster around volcanoes;
a creditor in connection with a transaction with an investment fund that provides for a comprehensive structure for debt restructuring based on financial documents and related asset purchase and sale;
a French investment bank in connection with the cross-border debt restructuring of one of the largest manufacturers of floor coverings;
a syndicate of major banks on syndicated project financing for the development of a gold deposit and the construction of a mining and processing plant in Kamchatka; and
a lender in connection with debt restructuring of outlet centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg as part of a deal to sell them to an international investment fund.
Nikolay graduated from the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
