Polina is a Senior associate in the Corporate practice of Orion Partners. She specializes in corporate and civil law.
Polina advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Her experience also includes settlement of corporate and other disputes through the conclusion of agreements (including the division of assets between disputing joint venture partners and the termination of joint ventures).
Polina has advised both private investors and large Russian and international companies operating in various sectors of the economy, including the oil and gas sector, the mining sector, the manufacturing sector, the financial sector, FMCG and IT.
Polina's work experience includes representing:
a major oil and gas company in relation to changes in the terms of the oil supply agreement concluded with Chinese partners;
a gold mining company on resolution of a corporate conflict in a gold mining joint venture, including agreements on the division of assets and the termination of shareholder agreements;
a major Russian financial group in relation to resolution of a conflict with its partner, including agreements on the transfer of assets;
international industrial holdings in relation to the sale of their Russian assets and termination of their operations in Russia;
international FMCG companies in relation to the sale of their Russian assets and termination of their operations in Russia;
private Russian investors in relation to the buyout of financial institutions from foreign partners; and
one of the owners of a Russian retail company in relation to changes in the terms of the joint venture with its partners.
Polina received her Master of Laws degree from HSE University in 2017, and her Master 1 European Economic Law degree from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2016.
