Roman is an Associate in the Financial practice of Orion qualified under Russian law.

Until 2022, he was an Associate in the banking practice of the Moscow office of Linklaters.

Roman's work experience includes representing:

a major bank regarding the provision of a syndicated loan to a coal company;

one of the major banks in relation to the provision of a facility to one of the leading companies in the field of mining and processing of mineral resources, with most of its assets located in Kazakhstan;

a lender in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan to an oil company;

lenders in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan to a major fertilizer company and Severo-Zapad-2; and

a syndicate of banks on syndicated project financing for the development of one of the largest copper deposit.

Roman received his Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
