Roman is an Associate in the Financial practice of Orion qualified under Russian law.

Until 2022, he was an Associate in the banking practice of the Moscow office of Linklaters.

Roman's work experience includes representing:

Gazprombank in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan under Russian law to Elgaugol;

Sberbank in relation to the provision of a facility to one of the leading companies in the field of mining and processing of mineral resources, with most of its assets located in Kazakhstan;

Gazprombank in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan under Russian law to RusGazAlliance;

Sberbank, Gazprombank, VTB, VEB.RF and Bank Otkritie in relation to the provision of a syndicated loan under Russian law to Severo-Zapad-2, a Eurochem group company; and

Gazprombank, VEB.RF and Sberbank in respect of a syndicated project financing for the development of the Udokanskoye field within the framework of the Project Finance Factory.

Roman received his Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
