Sophia specialises in transport and asset finance transactions and advises lenders and borrowers on syndicated and bilateral lending transactions.

Sophia’s work experience includes advising:

an international lessor on the refinancing of more than 26 dry bulk carriers structured through the sale and purchase of marine vessels with their subsequent instalment sale for an international logistics company;

a client on financing the acquisition, purchase and charter of 12 dry bulk carriers; and

a Middle Eastern logistics company on the acquisition, subsequent charter of 2 vessels and provision of security for the transaction.

Sophia graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University and received her Master of Laws degree from the Russian School of Private Law.
