Veronika specializes in cross-border financial transactions, including syndicated lending, real estate financing, trade and project financing, PPP projects, project finance and acquisition finance. She also has extensive experience in debt restructuring.
Prior to joining Orion, Veronika worked at law firms Better Chance and Clifford Chance.
Veronika's work experience includes advising:
Arctic LNG 2 on financing and constructing of three liquefied natural gas production lines with a total capacity of 19.8 million tons of LNG per year;
a syndicate of Russian banks on the preparation of loan and security documentation and related concession documentation and financial close of the federal concession project for the construction of the Moscow-St. Petersburg High Speed Railway (HSR);
Gazprombank and DOM.RF on financing a project for the construction of a tramway network along the route: “Kupchino metro station – Shushary settlement – Slavyanka” in St. Petersburg;
Yamal LNG on financing and constructing of three liquefied natural gas production lines with a total capacity of 16.5 million tons of LNG per year;
lenders on financing the gas chemical cluster in Ust-Luga;
lenders under the concession project for the construction of the Eastern Exit from Ufa, a 15 km transport corridor, including a 1,25 km underground tunnel (completion of previously commenced construction), construction of a 2,58 km bridge across the Ufa River, as well as a 10,2 km road to the intersection with the M5 federal highway;
a lender on complex finance and corporate transaction in connection with acquisition of structured bonds of the SPV, acquisition of a portion of the shares of the closed-end investment fund and establishment of quasi-corporate control over the SPV and the closed-end investment fund.
