Idar is an Associate in the Corporate law practice at Orion Partners. He specializes in M&A, venture capital and private equity transactions, as well as in transactions with securities.

Prior to joining Orion Partners, he worked in the Legal Department of the Moscow office of KPMG.

Idar's work experience includes advising:

Magnit PJSC in relation to the transaction for the acquisition of KazanExpress, a major regional marketplace;

a Russian state corporation in connection with the acquisition of a blocking stake in a satellite communications provider;

a major Russian airline on reorganization issues;

a major investment fund in connection with its restructuring;

a major Russian IT company in relation to delisting from a foreign exchange; and

a major Russian venture fund in connection with the support of investments in start-ups.

In 2022, Idar graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University, where he received a Bachelor's degree. Currently he is studying for a Master's degree at the Law Faculty of Moscow State University.
